BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -Meet our Pets of the Week, Stormee and Raynbow.
These two four-month-old kittens are sisters who are ready to find their forever home!
Stormee and Raynbow were rescued from a euthanasia list at a rural shelter, and are currently being fostered by a Long Way Home Adoptables volunteer.
“Unfortunately, they juts don’t have staff members to take care of bottle babies, so a rescue plea went out,” said foster coordinator Naomi Hernandez-Pledger. “We scooped in, got them to a foster that same night that they were turned in.”
Hernandez-Pledger said the kittens are good with kids, dogs and other cats.
They are spayed, microchipped and healthy!
Hernandez-Pledger recommends adopting kittens in pairs, so they have each other to play with.
“They do so so well with a playmate. It’s really good for their emotional wellbeing, their physical wellbeing too,” added Hernandez-Pledger.
The kittens can also be adopted separately.

Long Way Home Adoptables is also holding a “pawction”, their annual action that benefits the rescue.
Supporters across the country have until Aug. 20 to donate items for the auction, which can be anything big or small, including custom woodwork, quilts, pet supplies, jewelry, clothing, artwork, puzzles, donated services and more.
Register your pawction item here.
