The Melbourne Orlando International Airport is trying out a new program called MLB Comfort Canines with Space Coast Therapy Dogs, a non-profit that began in 1992 who bring their lovable and certified trained dogs to various public events, schools, libraries, and more. 10 volunteer dog handlers and 11 companion dogs rotate shifts to be at the terminal to bring joy and comfort to travelers.
