This puppy has some energy! Mocha is a two and a half year old mix between an Australian Shepherd and a Bernese Mountain dog. She loves to run. She loves to play, and she is so lovable. Caution, she IS a puppy and has every bit of that puppy energy. She is also working on her housebreaking skills but she’s coming along nicely. She is perfect for any family that has some space for her to exercise and probably woudl not do too well in a space with a small territorial dog or cat–not for aggressioon, but because she is going to be a large dog and can play rough!
In Subaru news, Subaru announced not one, but TWO new SUVs at the Chicago Auto Show–a Wilderness and Hybrid Forester! Billy says they can be ordered right now, but they are not expected until sometime in the second quarter of 2025. And with the chaos in Washington, we discussed tariffs which will likeloy work themselves out. But how Subaru outsmarted them back in the 70s with an addition to their Brat pick up which was facing tariffs.
The SPCA’s Paws at the Mall was moving because someone wanted their space. Anbd when that deal fell through, they are staying put across from Discoveries at the Mall (the library). And we reviewed our adoption rate for Canines & Crosstreks and the only past guest that is still at the shelter is our buddy from last week–Sebastian! Remember him? Here he is again, let’s get him a home too! —->
