ZANESVILLE, OH – This week’s K9 Adoption Center’s Pet of The Week is Nougat, a dog who may not hear your voice but will certainly feel the love in your heart.
This 3-year-old terrier mix is ready to find her forever home and bring joy to her new family. She is hearing impaired, but what she lacks in hearing, she makes up for with her enormous heart and loving nature. As a dog-friendly and people-loving pooch, Nougat makes the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal friend.
“She’s just an excellent dog. She would do good with just about any family of all ages. Maybe someone who would like to go for walks. She just loves to interact with you.” K-9 Adoption Center Volunteer, Doug McQuaid said.
The adoption center is currently full and is in need for compassionate individuals to open their homes and hearts to pets like Nougat. Starting February 1st, the adoption fee for pets will be set at $130. If you’re considering adding a furry friend to your family, remember a 2024 dog license is required for adoption.
“We are totally full at our facility. So, if you have lost your dog, please either stop by or give us a call. We would love to be able to reunite you with your dog.” McQuaid said.
