These pets are ready to settle in at their forever home — your place.

Travis, No. A511509, loves playing with toys

Travis, No. A511509, is a playful and entertaining guy! He’s about 4-years-old, weighs around 45 pounds, and has the inquisitive spirit of a puppy. He loves playing with toys — he’ll even throw them up in the air, chase them and pounce on them. He literally plays fetch without any assistance.

Travis has been introduced to some similar-sized dogs at Pasadena Humane and he seems to really like the attention. At a recent adoption event, he was happily walking around with other dogs and surrounded by hundreds of people all day. He enjoyed every minute of it!

This smart guy walks well on leash and will never turn down a belly rub. He’s hoping to show off his repertoire of tricks to you. Travis is also available for a 10-day adoption trial.

The adoption fee for dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip and age-appropriate vaccines.

Okra, No. A509741, needs her place in the sun

Sweet Okra has given us a list of her three favorite things: napping, sunbathing and crunchy treats! This adorable 5-year-old tuxedo kitty is hoping you have a nice spot in the sun for her to enjoy.

When she arrived at Pasadena Humane, Okra was very reserved and would sometimes hide, or not want to leave her bed. With a bit of patience, a couple of treats and some gentle scratches on the head, she started to come out of her shell.

Now, Okra is spending time in a foster home until she meets her “forever person.” The foster family reports that she is doing great, enjoying her favorite things and even playing with toys.

Like all cats and dogs older than 5-years-old, Okra is eligible for the “Seniors for Seniors” program. Her adoption fee is waived for any adopter age 60 years and older!

The adoption fee for cats is $100. All cat adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip and age-appropriate vaccines.

Stevie has been waiting for three years for his forever home

Stevie is the sweetest boy ever, with a hard-to-resist face. Age 6, he is mellow, loves to be petted, and would make a very loving companion. Stevie might be a little shy until he gets to know you, but then he’ll follow you around and just want to be nearby. He had an eye issue at first, but he’s fine now.

He is FIV-positive but needs no meds. He would get along fine with another nice cat, especially if that cat is also FIV-positive.

Stevie needs a chance to experience a home and comfort, and love. He’s been waiting for three years but no one has bothered to look at his capacious heart for love! He’ll be ever so grateful!

Watch a video of him in action on the “Adult Cats” page on lifelineforpets.org. For more information, 626-676-9505. Email: info@lifelineforpets.org.
