Having a dog is one of the greatest rewards you can experience in life.
No matter what happens to you throughout the day, it can all be instantly forgotten when you walk through the door and are greeted by a big smile and a wagging tail.
Even when you have to spend every last dollar on them for an emergency trip to the vet because they've eaten something that could harm them, they find a way to melt your heart, and you can't stay angry.
There is one thing, though, that I'll never love about having a dog, and soon we're all going to have to deal with it when the weather warms up.
