TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Ms. Biscuit is small in stature, but has the biggest heart!
The two-year old female mix breed visited Eye on NE Kansas with Grace Clinton from Helping Hands Humane Society.
Grace said Ms. Biscuit came the shelter as a stray. They don’t know much about her background but they know she’s good with children and other animals and pretty much anyone she meets!
HHHS dealt with full shelters throughout 2024, so as 2025 nears, they encourage everyone to have the pets microchipped, increasing the chances they’ll get back home should they ever get lost. They’re planning a week-long microchip special to boost their efforts.
The New Year’s Microchip Special at Helping Hands Humane Society runs Jan. 5 to 11. It’s just $10 for cats and $15 for dogs. Make an appointment by calling 785-233-7325 ext. 115.
