MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Once again, the Montgomery Humane Society is overflowing with pets that need forever homes.
Right now, the MHS has 392 cats and dogs waiting to be taken to loving homes.
In an effort to help home these lovely fur babies, MHS is running a special on cats and kittens with all feline adoption fees dropped to only $50!
In light of the surge of animals, MHS would also like to remind you to get your pets spayed and neutered.
“A lot of people can’t afford it and we will gladly help with that if they need it,” says Lea Turbert of the Montgomery Humane Society. “A lot of people don’t take the time- they don’t realize that- oh, they only had a litter of seven. Seven can multiply into so many in a year.”
If you or someone you know is interested in adopting, visit MontgomeryHumane.com to see available animals, fill out an adoption application, or make an appointment to come in. You can also visit the MHS in person with or without an appointment any day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
