Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has shared a heartfelt video of Yassa, talking about his “very sick” pet dog and asking people to send love and support.
The now-viral video, which was shared on Monday on Instagram, begins with Gandhi playing with Yassa under a tree, followed by a montage showing the dog growing up. The video also shows Rahul playing with the dog in his car and giving a belly rub on the floor.
Sharing the video, Gandhi wrote, “My BFF Yassa has been very sick. Please send him all your love, support and positive energy. Love you all.”
“Guys and girls, I hope everyone is doing well. My BFF Yassa, has been very sick with a severe gastric infection. I’m feeling very upset and low. Please send him all your love, support and the huge positive energy in your hearts to help him get well soon,” the text in the video read.

The video garnered over 3.8 million views on Instagram and numerous users flooded the comment section with love and support. A user wrote, “If a man likes dogs, he’s a good man. if dogs like a man, he’s a good man.” Another user wrote, “ Don’t be down, Yassa will recover real quick.”
