THE secret to getting a great-smelling house is now out of the bag.
A cleaning guru's trick ensured that not even pet odor was a match for the fresh fragrance method.
“My biggest flex and the best compliment that I personally can receive is that my house smells good and I have friends and family tell me all the time how great my house smells,” said Mara Sumner (@mara_sumner).
She was certainly serious about keeping her home smelling fresh and clean for as long as possible.
“I keep my home smelling great all the time even though I have two dogs and a very busy life,” she said.
Mara also made it clear that her trick didn't require all-day cleaning – it just took some Buff City Soap detergents.
“We love the scents narcissist and commando,” she said.
She preferred using the narcissist variety to freshen her sheets, blankets, pillowcases, and towels.
Whichever scent she used, her visitors were always left impressed with the fragrant smells.
The commando smell especially made all the difference.
“This scent lasts when we're doing laundry, our whole house smells good and our guests are always asking what it is,” she said.
Her fans also believed that her cleaning trick lived up to the hype.
“Your video convinced me to try this and I love it! My bed still smells good and it’s been a week,” said one follower.
“They are my fave!” said another watcher.
Her secret weapon was also affordable, especially since she said using just a little goes a long way.
Buff City commando laundry soap sells for $19.50 and is described as blending sweet and smoky scents for a playful and fresh smell.
With notes of lavender, vanilla, smoke, and cedar, the detergent had plenty of its own fans.
“Best smelling detergent of all! I will never stop using this detergent. It smells so good!” wrote one reviewer.
“Commando scent is may favorite!” said another buyer.
