A support group has been set up after cats started going missing from East Kilbride, in South Lanarkshire, only to turn up unexpectedly in a trio of villages ten miles away.
Although their owners have been grateful to find their beloved pets alive, they are mystified as to how the moggies all travelled to Newarthill, Carfin and Holytown.
A group has now been set up to help other owners in the area who have lost their cats without explanation. Police say they are equally puzzled about what is happening but cannot help.
