Meet Nala – a medium-sized mixed-breed pup currently at Manchester Animal Shelter, just over the line in New Hampshire. This “sophisticated low-key companion appreciates the finer things in life,” according to Shelter volunteers. She has a beautiful brown, black and white coat, with the upright ears of a very alert canine.
No shrinking violet, she would love to “reign” as the solo pet in a low-key home. She’s nine years old with excellent manners, including on her leash. Nala is a “graceful prancer” and enjoys a stroll, versus a hike. This is a dog who has dignity and appreciates admirers who don’t get up in her business. She’s a princess who knows how to reign over her humans.
Nala also comes with lovable quirks – plain kibble doesn’t cut it with her (nor should it – she is royalty), but treat her to a Fenway Frank or similar sausage and she’ll be very appreciative.
