National Horseracing Museum Newmarket hosts Easter dog show

The National Horseracing Museum in Newmarket will open its doors to visitors and their canine companions on Saturday, March 30, for their ‘Easter Paw-ty’ event.

The entertainment will start at 10.30am with a Pet Blessing by Rev. Robert Otule in the Museum’s King’s Yard, home to the famous statue of Frankel, officially the best racehorse in the world.

There will then be an Easter Trail for families and their four-legged friends following the bunny tracks from King’s Yard, through Rothschild Yard and across the road to Palace House and the gardens, deciphering clues along the way.

A dog show will take place from 11am with up to nine classes to enter, including the most Handsome Dog, the Waggiest Tail and the Cutest Puppy.

Tickets for the Easter Paw-ty are £5 per adult with under 16s free.

All dogs must be kept on leads whilst within the museum grounds.
