MOUNT PLEASANT, TEXAS — Nature’s Logic, a pet food brand by Mid America Pet Food, announced a significant sustainability achievement on Oct. 16, revealing it has planted 2,935 trees throughout the United States. The environmental initiative is a result of the brand’s partnership with pet retailer Pet Supplies Plus (PSP).
Through their partnership, PSP offered a training opportunity for the Nature’s Logic team, planting five trees for each team member who completed the training. According to the companies, 587 people participated in the training, resulting in PSP planting over 2,500 trees in Nature’s Logic’s honor. The companies also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to help plant the trees.
“We’re passionate about doing our part to help support and protect the outdoor spaces we love and enjoy with our pets, so it was a great opportunity to work with Pet Supplies Plus and Arbor Day Foundation and be able to plant over 2,500 trees across the United States,” said Greg Cyr, president and chief executive officer of Mid America Pet Food.
In planting the trees, Nature’s Logic and PSP helped safeguard the health of their communities and the environment, according to the companies.
“Our team is excited to be part of this meaningful opportunity, and we’re proud to help support Nature’s Logic as they continue to look for ways to further their impact on sustainability within the pet industry,” said Chris Rowland, chief executive officer of Pet Supplies Plus.
