ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Nearly $32,000 was raised during this year’s Paws and Claws Humane Society Pet Walk at Cook Park in Rochester on Saturday.
Supporters brought their dogs and cats, where they enjoyed food, vendors, and a K9 demonstration from the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office.
“It’s one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, so we’re always appreciative of the support from the community and our local businesses,” Paws and Claws Humane Society Board of Directors member Jenni Hovell said.
The money raised during the walk will help Paws and Claws staff and volunteers continue their mission of caring for animals and connecting them with forever homes.
