Nevada Humane Society, Carson City’s Pet of the Week: Elizabeth | Carson City Nevada News

Happy Thursday Carson City, and say hello to our newest Pet of the Week, Elizabeth!

Meet Elizabeth, an affectionate and happy girl with a heart full of love. This sweet canine companion found herself in need of a new home due to unforeseen family circumstances.

She would do best in a home without cats, small animals, or young children. She needs to meet any dogs and children under 12 who live in the home. Elizabeth is a high-energy sweetheart looking for a loving family to share her joy and playfulness.

Here is what Elizabeth has to say about herself: “Hey there, potential forever family! I'm Elizabeth, the happiest pup you'll ever meet. Life took a little turn, and here I am, looking for a new home to share all my love and wiggles. I'm a pro at the basics — house-trained, crate-trained, and a champ at car rides. Tug-of-war is my jam, and I'll give you all the kisses if you let me! I've got a few quirks, like being a bit nervous at loud noises and sometimes jumpy when I get excited, but I promise I'm working on it. I may pull a bit on walks, but throw a “no pull” harness on me, and we'll stroll in style. Thanks to obedience classes, I've got some great tricks up my paw. Let's make memories and enjoy the tail-wagging journey together!”

The best news is that Elizabeth is free to adopt! You can meet her at the Carson City Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road, Carson City or by calling (775) 887-2171 to learn more. We are open every day from 11:00 am-6:30 pm.
