BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — With 87 rooms and located downtown, the Origin Hotel Baton Rouge is expected to become a gathering place for locals and visitors.
The new Wyndham Hotel will have an on-site restaurant called Passé serving classic Creole and Cajun dishes. There will also be a coffee bar.
The rooms include leather-trimmed headboards, tiger-patterned wallpaper and wall-to-wall windows. Three suites in the hotel are named after Louisiana legends.
The hotel also has an in-room yoga kit, an adventure pack for kids and a special package for pets.
Origin Hotel Baton Rouge is offering a $50 dining credit to celebrate its grand opening. The offer also includes deluxe accommodations. More offers can be found here.
Origin Hotel Baton Rouge General Manager Braylon Hyde said the hotel’s grand opening will be on Jan. 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
