New W.F. Young personnel to support product management

EAST LONGMEADOW, MASS. — Family-owned company W.F. Young announced two new personnel appointments to help advance its growth. Jessica Lincoln has been named product manager of pet, and Casey Basta has been named global product manager of equine.

Lincoln has prior experience in the pet industry, having served as director of merchandising at Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. Additionally, she brings product development experience to her new role, having served as senior product development manager at R2P Pet Group, Inc., and director of product development at Pioneer Pet, LLC.

Basta is a passionate equestrian with more than 10 years of experience in the equine industry. She previously served as senior product manager of equine health at SmartPak and business development manager of equine at Cargill Health Technologies.

In their new roles, both Lincoln and Basta will partner with leaders at W.F. Young to drive product development initiatives, while also supporting the company’s global growth goals. They will manage product lifecycles within W.F. Young’s existing portfolio to support sales, profitability and customer experience with a focus on the pet and equine categories. Additionally, Lincoln and Basta will help in the creation and management of new innovative products and brand platforms, with an ultimate goal to help W.F. Young acquire new customers, expand its market share, and foster consumer loyalty.

“We are thrilled to add these two new roles to our organization as we continue to prioritize innovation and drive growth across our pet and equine divisions,” said Amy Cairy, vice president of marketing at W.F. Young. “Jessica and Casey bring a wealth of talent and expertise to the W.F. Young team. I’m confident they’ll play a pivotal role in allowing us to achieve our vision of being the most trusted innovators in animal care and pioneering solutions that ensure animals live their best, healthiest lives.”
