Do you have a pet who’d like to join in on the Pet Election?
After the recent election, it’s time get ‘paw-litical’ and have a bit of fun.
We have launched NZ’s ‘Pet Election’ across all of our main newspaper titles, which means that over the next month you’ll have the chance to nominate your furry friend to become the nation’s favourite pet. We want to see friends of all shapes and sizes entered – furry, scaly or feathered.
To go in the draw, purchase a Stuff newspaper and locate the daily Pet Election Competition qualifiers section. Follow the link, fill in your details online and upload a photo of your pet along with their ‘paw-litical promise’ to the country. Then you’re in the draw to win your share of $5,000 worth of pet store vouchers.
You can start uploading photos from 8 November, so get into your local store and pick up a copy fast! Participating newspapers are listed at the bottom of this page.
If your pet is chosen, they’ll be featured in Stuff’s newspaper/s for a whole day, plus you’ll receive a $50 pet store voucher to enjoy with them. At the end of the competition, 6 lucky qualifiers will be shortlisted to go in the draw to win the grand title of NZ’s best pet and an additional $1,000 worth of pet store vouchers!
Competition ends on 10 December, 2023
Participating newspapers include: Waikato Times, Taranaki Daily News, Manawatū Standard, The Post, Nelson Mail, Marlborough Express, The Press, The Timaru Herald, The Southland Times, Sunday Star-Times and Sunday News
