NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — The Noblesville Fire Department rescued a dog from a house fire early Saturday afternoon.
NFD reported that crews were dispatched to the 6200 block of Rothwell Drive around 12:36 p.m. Upon their arrival at approximately 12:40 p.m., firefighters found smoke emanating from a home.
Officials indicated that nobody was home at the time of the fire. Crews pulled a pet dog named Karma from the house.

No firefighters or other civilians were injured during the incident either. The dog was transported to MedVet in Carmel by an area resident, per NFD.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire. NFD reported that a family has been displaced because of the fire.
