NORMAN, OKLA (KOKH) — The Norman Fire Department (NFD) responded to a fire at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 6.
According to NPD, the fire was located at a duplex in the1000 block of Northcliff Avenue.
Neighbors of the duplex called the department and reported smoke on the side of the building.
The residents were not home at the time of the incident.
Firefighters forced entry and located three dogs and a cat.
All animals were safely removed.
NPD contained the fire; there were no injuries reported.
Norman Emergency Management Volunteers coordinated with the Red Cross to assist the family and animals.
