Merida has a spirit as wild as a wisp. She loves to be petted, but on her terms: she doesn’t want to be picked up. An interesting trait for a kitten, to be sure, but if you have any scritches, pats or rubs to spare then Merida will want them.
She is playfully interactive too! Merida loves to hunt and chase a laser pointer, a feather wand or worm toy.
Merida is a very sweet girl but it will just take a little longer for her to come out of her shell. She has met a very kind dog friend and she really isn’t sure how she feels about it.
She gets along with other cats, and likes to come out and explore when she’s ready, like when the dog is outside or especially at night when everyone else is sleeping.
Merida is about 8 months old, spayed and vaccinated. She is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $125.
If you are interested in adopting, you can download an adoption application online and then email your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org
