Athena is a green-eyed beauty who knows a thing or two about rescue. She was adopted as an adolescent by a kindly person along with her sister, Artemis. They are a bonded pair and looking for a new home that will take them both in.
By looks alone, they are almost identical in appearance, color and size. Artemis does have a small freckle on her nose, but they are both polydactyl (meaning they have extra toes). Athena can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly and loves affection. Artemis loves Athena’s companionship over human attention. Their favorite thing to do is weave in between their humans’ legs for all the love scritches!
Athena has lived with other cats from time to time but has not been introduced to dogs. We recommend a quiet home with adults as opposed to active families with young children. Athena is about 7 to 8 years old and spayed, she is not up-to-date with vaccinations yet.
If you are interested in adopting, you can download an adoption application online and then email your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org
