REDDING, Calif. — In this week's Pet of the Week segment, Haven Humane introduces us to Odin and he's ready to go home today!
Reid Martin, assistant manager of adoptions at Haven Humane, joined KRCR in the studio and said Odin is great with other dogs and loves everyone that he meets.
Martin said Odin is a one-year-old lab mix who was originally adopted from Haven Humane as a young puppy, but the family returned him because they did not have time to train him. Now he's looking his fur-ever home with a family that has time to train.
Katrina Lovitt-Swain rescue coordinator from Haven Humane said Odin is at the age where he is full of energy and can get excited without proper enrichment. Luckily, she said, he is very easy to entertain with toys and attention. She also said he's treat motivated and already knows the basics like “sit” and “lay down.”
Reid Martin said to adopt Odin anyone can call Haven Humane and set up a one on one visit. She also said a dog introduction visit can be scheduled if there are other pets in the home.
