OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) – The Oktibbeha County Humane Society issued a call for help over Facebook on Tuesday.
The post says the humane society, along with Starkville Police and the ASPCA, are working to rescue around 50 dogs.
They report that the dogs are malnourished and have been living on the property of an overwhelmed pet owner. They had very little access to food or water, the humane society reports.
They are working to get the dogs medical care and trap and remove ones that still remain
