Monty is a 6-month-old male Shepherd mix who was found as a stray at Walmart. We believe he is mixed with a small breed dog because he isn’t going to be a big guy; he only weighs 13 pounds. Monty has an unusual coat–it is black with chocolate highlights. Down the center of his back he has a 4 inch strip of jet black coloring but the rest of his body has chocolate to red highlights. He has just a bit of white on his chest. Look up handsome in a dictionary–his picture is probably there! Monty is gorgeous! We love his cocky little stance and his perky ears. He has the cutest foxy little head. Monty is a ball of energy and very playful! We believe he would be good with children and other dogs.
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
