Say hello to “Peanut Butter Pie,” an adorable little guinea pig currently at Lowell Humane Society. He and his brother Bear Tracks seek a new family willing to open their home and hearts. Peanut Butter Pie may be hand fed – he and Bear Tracks would love an enclosure filled with hay, some toys, and a hidey-place.
Currently, there is an over-abundance of small pets in the commonwealth – many people adopt without understanding their emotional and physical needs. Lowell Humane Society can help you learn how to give these cute little brothers the best home, and for those unable to have a dog or cat, these little guys would be willing to nestle in your lap and chirp for joy.
Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, open Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 4. Call 978-452-7781 or email info@lowellhumanesociety.org. If you can’t adopt, please share this story.
