“Four seasons of fun” is an ongoing collaboration between Castanet and Visit Penticton showcasing what Penticton has to offer all year round. Watch for it every Monday morning.

With dog-friendly patios in the South Okanagan, it’s no wonder why everyone and their dog loves the local hotspots.

Enjoy a cold one on one of Penticton’s brewery patios and bring your furry friend. Did you know that all breweries in Penticton are dog friendly?

And don’t worry – with water bowls on site, your dog will be able to cool down with a refreshing drink of water while you enjoy your own drink.

Abandoned Rail Brewing, located at 1220 Davenport Ave on the outskirts of Penticton, is a family run brewery and pours out award winning wine to enjoy.

For more information, visit arbrewco.com

Roche Wines, located at 60 Upper Bench Rd, is just one of many local wineries that will also welcome your furry family member.

Rooted in French traditions, Roche Winery produces what they call wine of “greater clarity and precision,” with limited quantities produced.

Enjoy a tasting and be sure to bring your dog along for the trip!

At 2825 Naramata Rd in Naramata you’ll find JoieFarm Winery, another dog-friendly winery with a beautiful Picnique Lawn space that welcomes dogs and families. And with Grapevine Barbeque on site, you can enjoy a bottle of wine and a meal in the Picnique space, and play a round of bocce ball!

For more information, visit joiefarm.com

Head south to Oliver and you’ll find River Stone Estate Winery at 143 Buchanan Dr, a small, family owned winery, with outdoor seating spaces and even a cottage you can spend a night or two in for a staycation amongst the vines.

For more information, visit riverstoneestatewinery.ca

And even distilleries are pet friendly, too! Maple Leaf Spirits in Penticton, located at 948 Naramata Rd, boasts being the pioneers in craft distilling in Penticton, pouring famous and award winning brandy amongst other delicious liqueurs distilled from local fruit.

Enjoy gorgeous views, and bring your dog, too! Visit mapleleafspirits.ca for more information.
