People are utilizing ChatGPT to turn their dogs into humans

They’re putting the “man” in man’s best friend.

People often refer to pets as family, and now they can look the human part thanks to artificial intelligence. Dog owners are transforming their beloved fur friends into people with the power of ChatGPT in the latest AI makeover trend sweeping TikTok and Instagram.

“I asked ChatGPT to turn my dog into a human,” read the caption to one of these peta-morphosis clips, which boasts 1.9 million views on TikTok.

The footage starts with a still of an Irish setter laying on a bed and then — voila — it cuts to a woman in red hair, a green sweater and a dog bone necklace like some bizarro “Beauty and the Beast” transformation.

In another TikTok video, a French bulldog is turned into a grizzled, pug-faced man with large jowls.

And this “Animorphs”-evoking feature isn’t just relegated to pooches — it can be done with a menagerie of animals ranging from hamsters to tortoises.

Many applied the interspecies switch to their cats with one digitally reincarnating their Calico as a Goth-looking gal with an orange streak in her raven hair, as seen on Reddit.

These reverse werewolf transformations caused quite a stir online, as some labeled them “so cute” and very on point.

“Pretty sure I had your cat as a Lit professor,” quipped one Reddit wit under a composite of a marmalade cat-turned-redheaded gentleman in a sweater.

While this may seem like witchcraft, this digital trick is very easy to pull off.

Users simply log into ChatGPT, and upload a pic of whatever pet they want virtually anthropomorphized, making sure the image is of high quality.

Beneath the photo, write the prompt with the correct gender, ‘What would my male/female dog look like as a person?”

Finally, press the arrow and ChatGPT will summon your animal’s inner person.

This Lassie-cum-homo sapien change is just one of many AI-generated glowups circulating online.

Others have included turning people into action figures and a Studio Ghibli makeover that reimagined everyone from friends and family to US President Donald Trump as anime characters in the style of Hayao Miyazaki.
