New Delhi: The Australian woman who tossed her pet dog off the roof of a parking arena last year was sentenced to 1-year imprisonment for her horrific act by the Midland Magistrate on Tuesday. The judiciary not only jailed her but also prohibited her from owning any kind of pet for the next 10 years.
For those who are unaware, a video showing the accused woman, identified as 26-year-old Amy Lea Judge, throwing off her Maltese Shih-Tzu dog named Princess from the second floor of the terrace of a shopping center parking lot in Preth went viral on social media back in 2022, leaving netizens furious & disturbed.

The video also showed the accused having a heated encounter with her boyfriend following which, she lost her cool and made her dog suffer by throwing her down from the parking lot’s roof.
Thankfully, Princess was later found by a pedestrian who later informed that she suffered several serious injuries and was in a state of shock after being hurled 30 feet down to the ground by her ex-owner Amy Lea Judge.
Amy’s insensitive Facebook post
Following the disgusting act, Amy also made a cryptic Facebook post in which she allegedly wrote that she had done a favor by hurting and abusing her.
However, she later deleted her controversial message and denied posting the same during her trial in court while claiming that it was written by someone else who hacked her Facebook account.
