WE'RE STARTING YOU OFF WITH THIS PLUMP ORANGE KITTY NAMED PUMPKIN — HE'S ABOUT EIGHT YEARS OLD AND HAS SPENT ALMOST ááTWO OF THOSE YEARS AT THE SHELTER. PUMPKIN IS VERY SWEET, BUT TIMID AND NERVOUS… HE HAS WARMED UP TO THE SHELTER STAFF OVER TIME, AND WILL NEED A CARING AND PATIENT PERSON TO BE HIS COMPANION. PUMPKIN ENJOYS BEING BRUSHED AND CAN LIVE WITH OTHER CATS, THOUGH HIS NEW HOME SHOULD BE QUIET WITHOUT MUCH EXCITEMENT. WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO GIVE PUMPKIN A CHANCE… IF YOU'D LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HIM, VISIT THE NORTH COUNTRY SPCA. NEXT, ááTWO DOGS NAMED SHILOH AND LINUS… HAVING A BLAST PLAYING IN OUR FRESH SNOW! THESE GUYS ARE GOOD BUDDIES, BUT ARE NOT CONSIDERED BONDED AND ARE AVAILABLE SEPARATELY. SHILOH IS THE PUP WITH THE WHITE NECK, ABOUT A YEAR OLD AND ALWAYS UP FOR AN ADVENTURE. LINUS IS A BIT OLDER AT TWO YEARS OF AGE… AND HAS A LOT OF HOUND DOG ENERGY. BOTH CANINES ARE DOG-SOCIAL, GET ALONG WITH CATS, AND SHOULD BE OKAY WITH KIDS. IF YOU'D LIKE TO TAKE HOME SHILOH, LINUS… OR BOTH… CONTACT THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF CHITTENDEN COUNTY. FINALLY, LET'S INTRODUCE YOU TO HAL. HE'S A ONE YEAR OLD BLACK LAB/HOUND MIX, AND WAS FOUND AS A STRAY IN THE NEARBY WOODS. ONE OF HIS LEGS WAS BADLY INJURED AND AMPUTATED BY THE SHELTER VETS. DESPITE THE SETBACK, HAL IS THRIVING ON HIS THREE LEGS AND CAN GO ON WALKS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. NOW THAT HE'S IN LESS PAIN, HE'S A LOT MORE SOCIAL AND LOVES PLAYING WITH OTHER DOGS. GIVEN HIS CONDITION, WE FEEL A HOME WITHOUT SMALL CHILDREN WOULD BE BEST. IF YOU'D GIVE THIS ADORABLE TRIPOD HIS FOREVER HOME, SAY HELLO TO HAL AT THE WINDHAM COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY. AND THIS WEEK'S FOREVER HOME FOUND GOES TO MACARONI, WHO WENT HOME WITH A SHELTER VOLUNTEER. HE'S EXCITED TO START HI
