Bello means “beautiful” in Spanish. That perfectly captures this week’s Pet Connection cutie.
Bello is a two-year-old orange tabby from our friends at Homeward Animal Shelter. He is a super sweet cat who loves all people. He really just wants to be a cuddly lap cat.
He’s not the biggest fan of dogs. Bello is also positive for feline leukemia. Since the virus is transmissible, he can’t live with other cats who do not have the disease.
Bello doesn’t require any special care for his leukemia. You would just need to be extra careful if he gets sick because the disease lowers his immune system. But Bello doesn’t show any symptoms of the virus at all, and should bring years of loving companionship to his new home.
