Pet dogs in Antipolo evacuation centers also get relief goods, says Mayor Jun Ynares

Even furry residents of Antipolo get help from the city government.

Antipolo Mayor Jun Ynares said 24 pet dogs are in the temporary animal shelter of the Kingsville evacuation center.

The dogs received food and pet diapers from the City Veterinary Team so that they would be more comfortable.

Ynares said pets should be included in emergency preparedness measures.

“Tuwing may sakuna, importante na kasama sila sa ating emergency preparedness dahil our pets are family, too! Kudos sa mga furparents na hindi pinabayaan ang kanilang mga furbabies,” he said.
