CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control will be heading to western North Carolina to assist a human and pet shelter and need cat and dog food.
The shelter said it will be heading to Glenwood Baptist Church in Marion, North Carolina in McDowell County to assist with Hurricane Helene relief. The church needs cat and dog food and are asking for donations.
The shelter is asking for the cat and dog food to be dropped off in the lobby at its main location at 8315 Byrum Drive by 10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd.
The lobby will be open until 7 p.m. After that, there will be an ACC truck in the parking lot for donations until 10 p.m.
