Pet killed in West Auckland dog attack

Auckland Council is investigating a dog attack in West Auckland on yesterday, where a pet dog was killed.

Animal management's team leader James Faulkner said the attack happened in Avondale on Wednesday afternoon.

He said they were investigating the incident with the help of police and witnesses.

Faulkner said anyone with additional information could contact the council on 09 301 0101.
