Supporters are invited to the 14th annual Pawsitively Pampered dog wash and vendor fundraiser benefiting Pets & People Humane Society from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday, Sept. 8 in Yukon.
Join the fun and bring your dog to this outdoor, family and dog-friendly event at the YNB Parkway location, 1550 Garth Brooks Boulevard.
Volunteer dog washers and groomers will pamper pets while people visit vendors and enjoy tasty treats from food trucks on site.
Dog washes cost $10 to $20. Basic grooming is $30 to $40. Prices depend on dog size and fluffiness.
Pawsitively Pampered event co-coordinator Peggy Nichols has organized the event for 14 years.
“Pets & People depends on funds raised at events like Pawsitively Pampered to help cover costs of medical care and other expenses for dogs and cats that came into our program during the busy summer months,” said Nichols, a Pets & People board member.
“We look forward to a great turnout for this super fun event again this year.”
Tickets are now on sale now for Pets & People’s Mardi Gras for Furry Paws Gala and Silent Auction, which will be celebrated from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Dale Robertson Center, 1200 Lakeshore Drive.
