Pet of the Day: Roma

Here’s what the shelter tells us about Roma:

“Meet Roma, our lovable one-year-old Blue Tick Coonhound! This sweet girl came to us as a stray and is proof that love can heal all wounds. Roma is incredibly affectionate and adores everyone she meets. Despite being underweight and currently on a feeding schedule to help her gain strength, she has an endless capacity for love. Roma thrives in the company of other dogs and kids, making her the perfect addition to any family. She’s a big lap dog who believes she’s a tiny pup, and she can often be found snuggling in beds or under a blanket, soaking up all the warmth and comfort she missed out on before. It’s clear she has not had the best past, but now she’s ready to give and receive all the love she deserves. Roma truly is the absolute perfect dog, and she can’t wait to find her forever home!”
