Meet Patrick, the 1 1/2-year-old pup weighing 57 pounds and with short red coat with white highlights and a huge smile that can brighten anyone’s day. He has a cheerful, outgoing personality and hound heritage making him a curious, adventurous spirit who is always ready to explore. Despite being a tripod, Patrick gets around effortlessly. He’s excellent on a leash, so walking him is a breeze, and he adores hopping into the car for a fun ride. If you’re looking for a dog with a big heart, an even bigger smile and a love for life, Patrick is your guy.
Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Patrick has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all his vaccinations. He is at the Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, so you come by any day of the week between noon and 6 p.m. to meet him. Animals are also available for adoption at the Ellis County Animal Care Center, 2570 FM Road 878 in Waxahachie. Through Sept. 30, you can “Name Your Cost” for all animal adoptions at both SPCA of Texas locations.
