HaltonHillsToday, in partnership with the Upper Credit Humane Society (UCHS), highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.
Gin and Brooke came to Upper Credit on May 13. Gin is just over two years old and bonded with the kitten, Brooke, in their foster home.
Although Gin is a little quiet at first, he is so loving and trusting once he settles in. He was living in an outdoor shed this past winter and was being fed by the property owner, who wanted a better life for the cats and brought them to the shelter.
Brooke is nine months old and was living as a stray kitten in Riverview. A kind neighbour saw her as a kitten and started feeding her.
Brooke was nervous coming into the shelter, but had started to warm up in her foster home. She is a sweet, playful girl who needs a chance at a family of her own.
Come have a visit with Gin and Brooke and consider giving them a second chance at a safe life together.
