Pet of the Week: Cat who loves kitty company up for adoption

Animal: Purrmione Granger, a 4-year-old, 9-pound, female domestic shorthair cat with a red tabby coat.

Where: Rancho Coastal Humane Society, 389 Requeza St., Encinitas. Open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays through Mondays or Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment.

Adoption fee: $100, includes microchip registration, spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.

Profile: Purrmione Granger loves the company of other cats and she is captivated by wand toys.
