Pet Of The Week – Frankie

If you are looking for an adorable pup who will steal your heart and fill your life with smiles, look no further than Frankie!  Frankie is a young Terrier Mix pup who is only 8 to 10 weeks old and is the epitome of puppy happiness.

Before coming to Green Hills Animal Shelter Frankie had a home of his own that he shared with two canine friends, Birdie and Luther. The three were great friends and were very loved by their family. Sadly, their family recently experienced a fire that destroyed their home. When they were unable to find a place where they could keep the trio that they so loved, they made the difficult decision to relinquish them to the shelter.

Frankie is an amazing pup who would be a great fit in any family. He is friendly, outgoing, and affectionate and loves getting kisses. And Frankie LOVES toys! Want to play tug-of-war or a game of chase? Frankie is always ready to join in! Frankie also LOVES other dogs and is always trying to play with his kennel neighbor at the shelter. Frankie is the social butterfly of the kennel area!! In addition to sharing his former home with two canine friends, Frankie also shared it with children and he loves small humans … especially ones who will play with him and then let him snuggle up for a nap after he’s all worn out.

If Frankie could describe his perfect Forever Home he would tell us that he would love to be an indoor dog with a securely fenced yard where he could go out and play. He would love as many toys as possible and a soft bed all his own. He is very smart and would enjoy a family who would teach him commands and tricks; especially tricks like fetch that involve a toy! As we mentioned earlier, Frankie is a social butterfly and would very much enjoy sharing his home with a canine companion or a small human or two.

Frankie will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. He is the sweetest pup who just wants a home and family of his own to grow up with; could you make his dream come true?
