PET OF THE WEEK: Humane Educational Society to begin “Clear the Shelters” event on August 10 | Pet of the Week

The Humane Educational Society in Chattanooga has more than 70 kittens available for adoption.

One of their free roaming rooms has boys ages two months to six months old that are looking for forever homes.

HES has about 50 other kittens that are living in foster homes as well.

HES staff say kittens tend to do better with other cats in your home so you may want to consider adopting a pair.

They are hosting a clear the shelter event starting on Saturday, August 10, which will last until the end of the month.

Adoption fees for all available animals will be waived during the event.

If you’re interested in adopting one of the kittens or any Pet of the Week, you can visit HES Chattanooga at 4155 Randolph Circle, call 423-624-5302 or click here to learn more.
