This silver Goddess has been named Kora. We tried to capture her gorgeous, shiny coat, but it’s still hard to see in the pictures. Her coat shimmers, offset by her brilliant white chest, and she’s a knock-out! Kora came in as a stray before Thanksgiving and it’s a good thing because she went into heat and the last thing we need with shelter overpopulation is more puppies.
Kora has a tear in her tongue which our vet suspects came from a tie out cable, but that’s only a suspicion. It healed a while ago. Kora has good manners and is a very likeable lady! In her kennel she watches the world go by and sits waiting to see if you are going to visit her. Kora is about 2 years old, weighs 64 pounds and has a healthy, gorgeous coat and white boots. Kora tested well with dogs and seemed nervous around cats—almost like she didn’t understand what they are.
Kora will be spayed next week when her heart cycle is over. She’s not a high maintenance dog and will fit into just about any household. To apply please go to www.amherstanimalshelter.org/adopt.
