CULLMAN, Ala. – Meet Lucy, a beautiful and sweet shepherd mixed with everything exceptional a dog could offer. Lucy is The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week.
This sweet lass is approximately 8-9 years old, but don’t let her age fool you – she is ready to play!
She has a big heart, but her first day at the shelter was tough, as she shook and shook. Those tending to sweet Lucy frequently reminded her the shelter is just her sleep-away camp.
She so looks forward to your company and enjoys time spent by your side. Lucy is a true lady, which makes her perfect for a therapy/companion dog.
Her caretaker said, “What a special, loving soul she is. I just love her!”
Lucy is already spayed, so her adoption fee has been reduced to only $35, which covers vaccines, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.
Come meet Lucy today; you don’t want to miss out on this lovely girl’s affection and loyalty. If you come by and Lucy is already adopted, please take a moment to visit with her friends who are all seeking their forever homes.
Visit the shelter at 935 Convent Road NE. It’s open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
