REDDING, Calif. — This week's Pet of the Week is Banjo! A three-month-old Australian Shepherd puppy mix and is 100% cute says Butte Humane.
Butte Humane says Banjo was brought to the animal shelter with his sister, but his sister has already been adopted and Banjo is still looking for his fur-ever family.
“Banjo is neutered and is ready to go to a new home today! The real beautiful thing about adopting a puppy is their young and moldable. He is going to be able to go into a home and acclimate to kids well, other animals, cats, with appropriate introductions. We're really excited! We hope that by introducing Banjo to you all today, he will meet his forever family.”
Butte Humane is participating in California'sAdopt-A-Pet Day on June 1, where The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) will be covering adoption fees for the day in partnership with CalAnimals.
“If you're looking to adopt a pet, and haven't found your ideal family member, be sure to visit us on that day…We're so thrilled to participate,” says Butte Humane.
If you're interested in adopting you can call (530) 343-7917 or visit Butte Humane during their walk-in hours, Tuesday – Sunday from 12p.m. – 4p.m. at 13391 Garner Lane, Chico.
