HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Cindy from the Harrison County Dog Pound joined 7News at Noon with Pet of the Week, Piper.
There is not much known about Piper’s past as she was found tied to a railing of a residence in Downtown Cadiz, the dog pound volunteers say they do not even know how long she was tied there.
Piper is estimated to be about 1 year old. She is very friendly and playful. She gets along great with the other dogs at the pound, and is very affectionate with people.
She has not yet been around children or cats, but volunteers think she would do great with them as well. She has a great personality.
Volunteers say that she keeps her kennel clean and uses the doggy door to go outside, and appears to be housebroken. She also knows basic commands such as sit and paw. She also walks great on the leash.
Piper’s 72 hour stray hold is up on Thursday, May 9, and applications for her adoption are now being taken.
If you are interested in adopting this wonderful little lady you can visit the Harrison County Dog pound. Applications are available in person at 82900 Toot Rd, Cadiz, OH, 43907 and online by clicking here.
