Pet of the Week: Slick | Features

EUGENE, Ore. – Slick is a silly, outgoing Husky mix pup with a cheerful personality who will be a lovely and loyal companion for his new family!

Slick is a charming black and white 2-year-old Husky mix with a lot of energy. Greenhill Humane Society staff say he loves going for long walks and romping around with other dog friends. When he’s not out on an adventure, Slick likes chomping down on treats, playing with toys, and showing off his tricks! He knows how to sit, shake, and lay down on command. Greenhill staff said that with some positive reinforcement training when he’s comfortable in his new home, Slick will be an extremely happy and loyal companion for his new family!

Slick does a big smile while shaking paws!

Slick weighs 48 pounds, and is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Greenhill staff said he should meet any potential new dog siblings at the shelter before adoption, and would do best without cats in the home. Slick is a super sweet and very energetic dog who would love to share his happy attitude with a loving family!

Slick was Tuesday’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases a homeless pet on the Midday newscast at 11 a.m. and again at 4 p.m.
