This week's pet of the week is Snickers!
Snickers came to us from Union County Animal Control where he was surrendered. He is ready for a fresh start!
Snickers is a 1 year old Brittany Spaniel mix. He's up to date on vaccines, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and neutered! He is heartworm positive, but he has already begun his treatment and we will continue to provide that care for his adopters until he tests negative. While briefly in a home, it was discovered that he doesn't do well with cats or small dogs. He is also completely potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, rides well in the car, is good with kids, and most dogs. A foster described him as a “very friendly, easy going velcro dog.” He knows how to sit and lay down.
Snickers' adoption fee has been sponsored! If you are interested in Snickers, please fill out an adoption application on our website. We are open Wednesday-Thursday, noon-7 p.m. and Friday-Sunday, noon-4 p.m.
