This beautiful girl is looking for a second chance with someone who has a quiet house and no small children
HaltonHillsToday, in partnership with the Upper Credit Humane Society (UCHS), highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.
Thunder arrived at the shelter on March 28. She’s a sweet, beautiful cat who enjoys pets and snuggles. She’s also great with other cats when properly introduced.
Thunder was surrendered to the shelter when she redirected on the owner after she was triggered by a situation that occurred in her home. The owner had not seen this behaviour in all of her five years of ownership.
We do know that a quarantine period and fixing a cat will help them get over a redirection incident. Thunder was spayed shortly after the redirection, but required more time to diffuse that the owner would give.
When you see Thunder at the shelter, she’s a loving and friendly girl who’s happy and content. Thunder needs a second chance with someone who has a quiet house and no small children.
If you would like to have a visit with this adorable girl, please contact the shelter or stop in for a visit.
