(WETM) — Today’s Pet of the Week is a very good boy from the Schuyler County Humane Society.
Zeke is a two or 3-year-old Australian cattle dog mix. Zeke came to the shelter as a stray, so his past is unknown, but he doesn’t let his time on the streets get him down. This boy is very chill and easy-going, and he promises to be a great family dog. Shelter staff expect this intelligent boy to be a loyal and steadfast companion.
Zeke is an athletic guy and would love to go on long walks around the neighborhood or hikes on the beautiful trails around the Twin Tiers with his new family. Zeke is always down for an adventure, but he’s also happy to just hang out with his four-legged or two-legged loved ones. Zeke gets along with other dogs and is cautious of cats, so he’d do well in a home with either.
Zeke is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations, so he’s all set to go to a loving home. If you want to add this very good boy to your family, you can call the Schuyler County Humane Society at 607-594-2255 to schedule a meet-and-greet. You can also stop by the shelter between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, or from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays to visit him without an appointment.
